Invitation to Art Exhibition at Give Hope, Athens
You are cordially invited to the opening of the art exhibition, 365, on Friday May 11th 2012, at eight o’clock in the evening at Give Hope, 66 Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, Athens.
365 is a "living" installation that combines elements of geometry, phytology and practical ecology in an aesthetic/conceptual entity that serves as a proposal for a new habit in everyday life. It is the most recent work of the environmental artist, curator, designer and educator, Stamatina Palmou. The work draws inspiration from the works of Josef Beuys, Robert Smithson and from the patterns of nature itself. Paying homage to countless anonymous individuals that function within the context of the Social Sculpture and educating viewers by conceptualizing their paradigm is central to the artist's intentions.
